A flagship specialist strand

Our Windrush work

Windrush is a major specialist strand of RenVocate’s work. It brings together advocacy, wellbeing and education to support people affected by the Windrush injustice, strengthen understanding and create space for dignity, healing and community voice.

Our commitment

Specialist support grounded in dignity and lived experience

For the past three years, our work has included community advocacy, trusted information, compensation clinics, talks, exhibitions and partnership activity. Our commitment is to stand alongside you throughout your journey—to listen without judgement, help you understand your options, guide you through the information available and offer practical assistance wherever we can. This may include helping you identify relevant government schemes and provisions, signposting or referring you to the right services, and supporting you with the steps needed to move matters forward. We will aim to remain alongside you through to completion, or until the appropriate service is in place to continue supporting you. You will not simply be given information and left to struggle alone—we are in it together.
