Safeguarding Statement

How RenVocate CIC works to protect children and adults who may be at risk of harm.

Our commitment

RenVocate CIC is committed to providing respectful, inclusive and safe activities. We recognise our responsibility to respond appropriately to concerns about abuse, neglect, exploitation, discrimination or other harm.

Our approach

  • clear safeguarding responsibilities and escalation routes;
  • appropriate risk assessment for programmes, events and partnerships;
  • safer recruitment, role checks and training where required;
  • confidential handling of concerns on a need-to-know basis;
  • referral to statutory or specialist services when necessary; and
  • participant choice, dignity and wellbeing at the centre of our response.

Reporting a concern

Safeguarding concerns should be reported to RenVocate’s Director for Community Engagement and Safeguarding by emailing info@renvocate.org.uk or using our contact form. Please mark the message “Safeguarding concern” and avoid sending highly sensitive documents through the initial form.

Immediate danger

RenVocate is not an emergency service. If a child or adult is in immediate danger, call 999. If there is no immediate danger but you believe a crime has been committed, contact the police on 101 or the relevant local-authority safeguarding service.
